Description
The Fuelbecker Talsperre is home to various waterfowl and woodland species. There are not usually great numbers of birds present on the reservoir itself, but with a bit of patience it is usually possible to see Tufted Duck, Mallard, Mandarin Duck and Great Cormorant.
The woodland surrounding the reservoir is richer in birdlife. Black Woodpecker, Willow Tit, Coal Tit, Crested Tit, Eurasian Bullfinch, Mistle Thrush and Goldcrest can be observed here. There is also a good chance of seeing a Common Raven over the forest.
