Description

Rochers du Carnaval et Forêt d'Uchon has grasslands that shelter Wood Lark and even Eurasian Nightjar. The viewpoint allows you to observe Booted Eagle and more rarely Short-toed Snake Eagle. The surrounding forest is ideal for observing several species of woodpeckers such as Middle Spotted Woodpecker and Middle Spotted Woodpecker. The site also has rare and remarkable flora.

Français: Il s'agit d'un remarquable chaos rocheux offrant par ailleurs un magnifique point de vue sur le massif du Morvan. Le chaos rocheux se situe sur une pelouse acide qui abrite l' Wood Lark ou encore l' Eurasian Nightjar , le point de vue permet d'y observer l' Booted Eagle ou plus rarement le Short-toed Snake Eagle, la forêt alentour est idéale pour observer plusieurs espèces de picidés comme le Middle Spotted Woodpecker ou encore le Middle Spotted Woodpecker. Le site possède également une flore rare et remarquable.

Access

Rochers du Carnaval et Forêt d'Uchon is located south of the village of Uchon. The site is accessed through the village of Uchon via the D275. Click on the P in the map for directions to a parking. The circular walking route indicated on the map is about 4 km.
