A rocky peninsula located south of the salt marshes of Guérande, the Pointe du Croisic is a great site for the observation of sea birds.
The peninsula of Pointe du Croisic offers an easy accessible rocky coast for a multitude of water birds, especially when migrating or wintering. Among the birds you can observe here are Common Eider, Long-tailed Duck, Red-breasted Merganser, Sabine's Gull, Glaucous Gull, Bar-tailed Godwit, Purple Sandpiper, Black Guillemot, Black-necked Grebe and Slavonian Grebe.
