La Paracou is a charming small beach with dunes located close to the town of Les Sables-d'Olonne. Along the coastline you can observe birds such as Eurasian Oystercatcher, Common Ringed Plover, Dunlin, Sanderling, Ruddy Turnstoneand Little Egret. In the dunes birds as Eurasian Skylark and Grasshopper Warbler. Above sea birds such as Northern Gannet, Great Skua, Balearic Shearwater, Sandwich Tern and Kittiwake. For watching the seabirds you will need a spotting scope because the birds are often at a great distance.
