Description

Etang Renard has no observatory, but from the rural path you can view the lake. Neighboring the Piegu pond, it is a major nesting and winter migration site. Numerous ducks are present there.

Français: Grand étang de Brenne, point de vue depuis la bonde via un sentier rural. Voisin de l'étang Piegu, il constitue une place majeur de nidification et mirgration hivernale. Nobreux fuligules et canards de surface y sont présents.

Access

On D148, from Subtray, take the first left towards Loge des Cousins, then 250 meters away, take the dirt road to the right, along the Piegu pond, to the Renard pond. Click on the P in the map for directions.
