Wetlands on the Bassin d'Arcachon between the towns of Audenge and Lanton, where one can see many birds in a beautiful landscape.
Domaine de Certes et Graveyron is a wetland with former salt marshes, rivers and canals bordering the Bassin d'Árchachon. The area is very rich in birds. Birds that you can observe here include Mute Swan, Eurasian Coot, Black Kite, Eurasian Spoonbill, Little Egret, Willow Warbler, Black-headed Gull, Eurasian Curlew, Cattle Egret, Dunlin, Lesser Black-backed Gull , European Herring Gull. A wide path leads along water, dams and locks through this area.
Domaine de Certes et Graveyron is located on the D3 between Lanton and Audenge at the Château de Certes. A roundabout gives access to the car park 250m north of the château. Press P on the map for directions to the car park. The 12 km circular walk starts here.
