Small artificial pond that's easy to miss but can surprise a birdwatcher positively.
Even though the pond is small and often filled with foliage during the hotter months, it's worth a look if you are in the area as it's possible to see some unexpected nice birds in the area. Water fowl like Mallard and Common Teal have been seen feeding in the water with their young and Red-backed Shrike likes to hunt dragonflies and other insects in the area. Common Snipe has been seen by the pond in spring time and a bit rarer sighting of a Bluethroat have been spotted there during the migration season.
There's a parking place closeby, see the P on the map. It's also possible to walk and cycle here.
