A naturally nutrient-rich bog with small water surfaces, reedholme and meadows that attract many birds. On the southern side you can look out over sea.
Gulstav Mose is a 7 hectare bog that attracts many birds. In 1980, a dam was built to keep the water inside the bog and since then the number of plant and bird species has increased. There are good overview conditions from the bird tower at the north end of Gulstav Mose. Over 40 species of breeding birds are registered in Gulstav Mose.
In the winter months up to March, many birds can also be seen in the sea off the cliffs. The sea is also an excellent winter spot for seabirds like Common Scoter and passing migrants during migration.
In Gulstav Mose an observation tower has been built. Just before reaching the last parking area on Gulstavvej, there is an information center and picnic shelter on the right.
