The outlet of the Fovrfeldt creek has created sandy banks in the sea that host a great number of birds during lower tides.
In rising tides, the corner of the outlet is one of the last places that get flooded and hence, the birds concentrate on the sand banks before the water rises and the fly to Fanø. Focus species include Ruddy Turnstone, Bar-tailed Godwit, Caspian Gull and Common Kingfisher.
Acces the area from west by parking at "the four white men" or from the east by parking at "Esbjerg Beach". There is a trail long the south-side of the interconnecting road.
