Description

The area around Wat Pichmkod has mature trees and nearby wetlands. Cambodian Tailorbird, a Cambodian endemic, is guaranteed. Good habitat for Shamas, Bulbuls, doves. Almost anything can turn up during migration. Collared Kingfisher and Abbott's Babbler are resident.

Access

The Wat Pichmkod area is within easy striking distance of Phnom Penh. Take the Areyksart ferry (1) across the Mekong. From there, it is 1.8 kilometers walk, with good birding along the way. The site can also be reached by Tuk-tuk from the ferry.
