Description
The ponds of Zevenbronnen are located in between a large residential area to the north, farmland to the south and woodland to the east and west. The site attracts a great number of birds. Breeding birds include Middle Spotted Woodpecker, Water Rail, Grey Wagtail, Eurasian Goshawk, Black Woodpecker and Common Kingfisher . During migration, rarities like Osprey can be seen using Zevenbronnen as a staging area.

Access
De vijvers van Zevenbronnen are located 15 km south of Brussels. The best way to explore the site is on foot. On most trails, cycling is not allowed or simply impossible. Cars can be parked in the street. Click on the P in the map for directions. The circular walking route indicated on the map is about 2 km.
