Description

The Peerdsbos is a forest on the outskirts of Antwerp. The long straight lanes make walking with a buggy or wheelchair easy. The perfect place to introduce less mobile people and children to bird watching. But the Peerdsbos is also an interesting birding place for experienced birdwatchers.

Nederlands: Het Peerdsbos is één van de meest bezochte bossen in de stadsrand van Antwerpen. De perfecte locatie om 5 soorten spechten te zien. De lange rechte dreven maken wandelen met buggy of rolstoel gemakkelijk. De uitgelezen plaats om minder mobiele mensen en kinderen kennis te laten maken met vogels kijken. Maar het Peerdsbos is ook een interessante birdingplace voor ervaren birdwatchers.

Access

The Peerdsbos is located directly south of Brasschaat. There are several parking spaces around the forest. Click on a P on the map for directions. The circular walk shown on the map is approximately 3.5 km.
