Around this old Scheldt meander you will find many birds in the bushes, reed fringes and on the water.
The Kriephoek is an old Scheldt meander and a public angling water. Water Rail, Common Cuckoo, Cetti's Warbler, Reed Warbler and Marsh Warbler feel at home here. Other birds you can see are Common Kingfisher, Great Crested Grebe, European Stonechat, Black-headed Gull, Common Buzzard, Sparrowhawk, Eurasian Kestrel and Great Spotted Woodpecker.
Free access on the trails all year round. In rainy weather, boots or sturdy walking shoes are recommended.
