Fairly small forest in an agricultural area, part of it is nature reserve.

Added by Peter Wijnsouw

Description

Mixed forest with some old beech lanes. Woodpeckers like Black Woodpecker and Lesser Spotted Woodpecker breed here as well as Northern Goshawk and other birds of prey. In spring you may experience a real concert of song birds: warblers, thrushes, tits, European Pied Flycatcher and Goldcrest, while in winter, there's different species of finches and if you're lucky you may see an Eurasian Woodcock hiding beneath the bushes or gulls,  Wood Lark and European Stonechat on the surrounding fields.
