Beautiful small lake in the middle of Dilijan National Park which is surrounded by deciduous forest. There is recreation zone on the northwestern banks.

Description

Parz Lake is a small lake in a beech forest. You can find forest birds like different woodpeckers, Eurasian Treecreeper, European Robin, tits and Hawfinch on very small area. You can just go by trail around the lake which is about 1,5 km. It takes 30-40 minutes and this will be enough to encounter 10-15 forest bird species.

Access

You can get to Parz Lake by car from the Tbilisyan highway in Dilijan, just follow the sign. Or you can order a taxi from Dilijan. It will take about 20 minutes to get there and will cost about 3-4 000 amd (2025). Parking near the lake is paid an costs 300 amd / car (2025), you can pay both cash or card. The best way to explore the area is by foot. The lake is surronded by pedestrial trail 1,5 km long.
