This is a flat peninsular in Lake Sevan. Most of it is drained beach, home to several local bird species.
This is an excellent place to see Armenian Gull and White-winged Tern , plus several other water bird species.
The site is adjacent to the M10 main road and there is easy access for motor vehicles; parking is allowed without restriction. Movement around the site can be on foot, or by cycle or motor vehicle.
During Soviet times, the lake was deliberately lowered by several metres, which explains the beach like appearance of much of the site.
