Description
The river estuary near Ruan Lanihorne is very good for wildfowl, waders, raptors and other waterbirds. Watch from Sett Bridge or the stone quay. Worth having scope as views can be distant at low tide. Birds you can observe include duplinska kozarka, žvižgavka, rjavi škarnik, mala bela caplja, zlata prosenka, zelenonogi martinec, mali martinec, veliki škurh, mali škurh, priba, and vodomec. Excellent for ribji orel in spring and autumn.

Ruan Lanihorne is located near Truro in Cornwall. Park on stone quay at P on the map or sensibly in pull-ins. The area is not accessible by public transport. Walk along road in either direction to view various marshy areas.
