Decoy Country Park is in the Southern half of Newton Abbot in South Devon.
This country park gets quite busy during the summer and at weekends due to watersports enthusiasts. So a weekday visit is advised. During Spring/Autumn/Winter especially in cold weather it is less busy. The lakes are good for duck species especially when severe freezing conditions to the north force movement. There are two lakes, one large and one small, open grass areas and woodland. During Winter when trees lose their leaves you get better views around the lakes.
Head South on the A380 flyover, come off at road sign marked to B3195, on roundabout take second exit into Newton Abbot, then left into Keyberry Road, at next roundabout turn right into Decoy Road, the car park (fee payable) is just on the left under trees. The circular route as shown on the map is about 2 km long.
