A small reserved wetland which hosts many waders, waterfowl and birds or prey. There are uncovered hides/blinds situated along the path and give good views.

Description

Alston Wetland is a small reserve created on the footprint of an old reservoir. Among the birds you can encounter are čuk, komatni deževnik, školjkarica, veliki škurh, priba, kreheljc, črna vrana, cikovt, siva gos, labod grbec, stržek, kos, Pegasta sova and kanja.

The reserve is located just south of Longridge along a single track tarmac road (Pinfold Lane).
