Description

The Inkwilersee is a small lake with a circular trail (approx. 2km) that runs around it. The lake is very rich in species. With hedges and coppice as well as amphibian ponds and wet meadows. Numerous winter guests, e.g. Smew. Migrants rest here, e.g. Bluethroat. A beaver lives here too.

Access

There are two car parks (in Inkwil and in Bolken). By bus from Solothurn or Herzogenbuchsee to Inkwil Dorf. Then about 1km to the lake. The lake is a nature reserve. It is imperative to stay on the path and keep dogs on a leash.
