Wet meadow and shallow ponds area of 4.8 hectares in the plain of the Emme and the Urtenen. It is home to the second largest Kızkuşu colony in Switzerland.

Description

The Fraubrunnenmoos lies in the alluvial plain of the Emme and the Urtenen. Kızkuşu, Küçük halkalı cılıbıt and Tarlakuşu breed in the wet grasslands and along the shallow ponds. The area is also an important resting place for migrating waders. So far, more than 20 species of waders have been observed here.
