A small pond with some potential. Birds that have been observed here include Cattle Egret and Pink-footed Goose.
Råbydammen is a small shallow pond with some little islands in the middle. The pond is surrounded by a flowery meadow. Rare birds such as Cattle Egret and Pink-footed Goose have been spotted here. Birds that can be spotted here on a more regular basis are Common Shelduck, Common Goldeneye, Red-necked Grebe, Common Ringed Plover, Little Ringed Plover, Northern Lapwing, Eurasian Oystercatcher and Common Redshank.
Råbydammen is located south of the city of Lund immediately on the edge of the built-up area and therefore easy accessible from Lund. You can get a good view of the pond from the road that runs south of the area. Click on the P in the map for directions to a parking spot.
