Description
The Guadalhorce is the principal river of the Province of Málaga in southern Spain. Flowing for 154 kilometres through southern Andalusia into the Mediterranean west of the city of Málaga. The mouth of the river is a great place for birding (see separate entry 'Parque del Guadalhorce' on Birdingplaces), but along the river there are many other interesting birding spots. Like this site near the village of Aljaima. It is located at a small dam in the river. The place is rich in birds and easy accessible.

Nace en el puerto de los Alazores en la provincia de Granada y posteriormente recorre la provincia de Málaga de norte a sur a lo largo de 154 kilómetros. Desemboca en la ciudad de Málaga.
