The recreational area of Marimateos in the Sierra de Aracena and Picos de Aroche Natural Park holds lots of birds, especially in spring. Among the birds you can encounter are European Bee-eater, Griffon Vulture, Red Kite, Eurasian Siskin, Rock Sparrow, Eurasian Nuthatch, European Serin and Sardinian Warbler.
