In 2011 the Association of Friends Laguna Dos Reinos de Figarol was created, which since then has been organizing events and activities of education, awareness and environmental volunteering. Thanks to his efforts, the area has a reception area, with parking and tables, benches, barbecues, etc., from which a path that surrounds the lagoon starts. Click on the P in the map to get directions to the parking. There are two observatories: the Caracol Tower, further away from the lagoon and with more general views of the landscape, and the bird watching hide, located on the path next to the lagoon. You can make a circular walk around the lagoon (2 km). But the surrounding rice fields are also interesting for birding. On the map we have also indicated a 10 km walk through the surrounding area, but you can easy shorten this or walk only a small part.
