EDAR Alhama de Murcia attracts rare species such as kopparand or vitögd dykand. It is home to wintering species such as skedstork, blåhake, brunand and Sävsparv, among other birds. Summer species such as trastsångare and rörsångare, among others. It is a place of interest during migration also.
