Description

Camino de la Barca is a walk along the river Río Henares and the surrounding river forest. The area is very rich in birds. Among the birds you can encounter are Western Marsh Harrier, White Stork, Red-legged Partridge, Zitting Cisticola, Crag Martin, Cetti's Warbler, Corn Bunting, European Stonechat, Black Redstart, Common Cuckoo, Common Nightingale and Woodchat Shrike.

Access

Camino de la Barca is located close to the town of Azuqueca de Henares. Exit 42 of the A2, in 5 minutes you get there and you can park on the side of the road. Click on the P in the map for directions.
