Belo Brdo ('White Hill') is a Neolithic archeological site (4000 B.C.) in Vinča that is also a great place for gull watching. Thousands of gulls come to the Danube River near Vinča in winter. There is also a 'gull highway' connecting the Belo Brdo with Belgrade city's main landfill, with thousands of gulls flying in both directions over the hilly slopes of Vinča.
Guincho-comum, Gaivota-de-patas-amarelas, and Gaivota-de-patas-amarelas are common in winter, while Gaivota-parda and gaivota-da-asa-escura are very often spotted. Sometimes Gaivota-argêntea and Alcatraz-comum, can be seen, although they are pretty rare in Serbia.

There are two good places to watch gulls in Vinča. One is near the archeological site Belo Brdo and the other, maybe even better, is at the ferry-place. Follow one of the 'P' markings on the map.
