Description

Pedreira Cabo da Praia is an easily accessible location on the island of Terceira where a large number of different bird species occur. In autumn, more than 20 different species can be easily observed, many of which are of American origin. Among the birds you can encounter are kačica bielohlavá, kulík bledý, kulík poloblanistý, kulík piesočný, kulík krikľavý, kalužiak žltonohý, pobrežník belavý, pobrežník tmavý, pobrežník trávový, brežník dlhozobý and many more. Easy walk, 200 metres from the car parking. Then just walk and choose the locations according to the tides and the species present.
