Description

Parque Corgo is located on the banks of the river that gives it its name, and is connected to the Parque Florestal, a true lung of the city, and incorporates various facilities: multi-sports fields, pedestrian routes, picnic area (equipped with grills and tables), open municipal swimming pools, children's playground, cafes and tea houses. It is still possible to see old mills, some of them recovered. Among the birds you can encounter are Common Waxbill, Eurasian Hoopoe, Common Kingfisher, White-throated Dipper, Eurasian Jay, Sardinian Warbler, Pied Flycatcher, Eurasian Nuthatch and Grey Wagtail.

Português: Parque urbano com 33 ha com zonas verdes que percorrem o Rio Corgo, anexo a Parque Florestal com várias estruturas de apoio e locais culturais. O Parque Corgo situa-se nas margens do rio que lhe dá nome, e tem uma área de cerca de 33 hectares; está ligado ao Parque Florestal, um verdadeiro pulmão da cidade, e incorpora vários equipamentos: campos polidesportivos, itinerários pedestres, parque de merendas de Codessais (equipado com grelhadores e mesas), piscinas municipais abertas, parque infantil, cafés e casas de chá; é ainda possível ver antigos moinhos, alguns deles recuperados.
