Description
The Divor reservoir and its surroundings are great for bird watching. Much of the area is underexplored. The main observation point on the north side is the dam, which allows observing the waters of the reservoir. But as this dam is quite busy with sportsmen and fishermen, the disturbance can be high, so the number of birds present is not always high. So it is also good to explore the other side of the reservoir. On the lake and around the margins you can see ducks, grebes, plameňák růžový, herons and waders lake pisík obecný and vodouš šedý.
In the surrounding areas many birds can be seen. For example strnad cvrčivý, strnad luční, kukačka chocholatá, vlha pestrá, dudek chocholatý, ťuhýk pustinný, chocholouš vavřínový, Chocholouš obecný, skřivan polní, cistovník rákosníkový, sedmihlásek švitořivý and pěnice bělohrdlá. Also many birds of prey can be seen flying over the area. In summer you have a good chance on luňák hnědý, orel nejmenší and sup bělohlavý. In winter moták pilich, luňák červený and luněc šedý. All year round you can see káně lesní, moták pochop and poštolka obecná. moták lužní can bee seen mostly in August.
