Tarnowa Łąka - Dolina Rowu Polskiego is an area of open meadows surrounded by forest both from the south and from the north. It is a place of breeding, resting and feeding for many interesting bird species such as Common Crane, Hen Harrier, Montagu's Harrier, Eurasian Kestrel and of passerines like European Stonechat and Whinchat. In spring, especially when the area is flooded, you can see many species of ducks, as well as Mute Swan, Whooper Swan and Bewick's Swan. A permanent resident is Great Grey Shrike. In 2016, the presence of a subspecies of the Great Grey Shrike - Lanius exubitor homeyeri, was recorded. In spring you can hear the Corn Crake.
