These are currently (as of 2021) unused, overgrown fish ponds located about 30 km south of Poznań.

Description

Grzybno Fishpond is a cool place especially during spring and autumn migration. If the water conditions are right, some water and marsh birds stay here such as: Greylag Goose, Whooper Swan, Bewick's Swan, Great Egret, Common Greenshank, Ruff, Common Redshank, Spotted Redshank, Dunlin, Common Snipe, Black Tern, White-winged Tern. The most interesting birds that have been observed here: Red Phalarope, Pectoral Sandpiper, Black-winged Stilt, Eurasian Spoonbill. During the breeding season, a good place for: Little Bittern , Great Bittern , Bearded Tit, Penduline Tit, Savi's Warbler, White-tailed Eagle and Black Kite.

Access

The complex consists of 3 main ponds. It is best to park your car on the public road next to a small bridge. It is best to walk the large pond (Northern) along the eastern shore, while the southern pond is also best to go along the eastern shore. The next southern ponds have been overgrown with reeds in recent years and the view is difficult.
