At Nordby, Vallø beach is located in a quiet bend on the Oslofjord. Easily accessible and worth a quick stop.
The coastal strip near Vallø is dotted with small rocks that birds often sit on. Everything is easily visible and you can see birds here like Common Eider, Red-breasted Merganser, Common Goldeneye, Eurasian Oystercatcher, Common Tern, Great Cormorant and a little further on the sea birds like Sandwich Tern, Velvet Scoter, Red-throated Diver and Long-tailed Duck.
Easily visible from the road. Parking is also possible along the road.
