Description

Vadsøya is an island in the city of Vadsø. The east side of the island is a nature park with a pond. The pond is a good place to see Red-necked Phalarope. Other birds you can see along the shores and on sea are Common Eider, Steller's Eider, King Eider, Long-tailed Duck, Red-breasted Merganser, Goosander, Purple Sandpiper, Bar-tailed Godwit, Glaucous Gull, Iceland Gull, Red-throated Pipit, and Dunlin.
