Description
Next to some peat remnants, in Reuselse Moeren you walk through moist heather, dry coniferous forest and birch forest. The area lies on the border of the Netherlands and Belgium and covers 152 hectares. A walking route has been laid out in the area and there is a bird watching hide. Among the birds you can see here are Grasshopper Warbler, Reed Bunting, Eurasian Nightjar, European Honey-buzzard, Black-necked Grebe, Common Teal, Marsh Warbler, Icterine Warbler, Eurasian Goshawk and Bluethroat.

Nederlands: Reuselse Moeren is één van de laatst overgebleven hoogveengebieden in het zuiden van Brabant. Naast verdroogde veenresten bevindt zich hier vochtige heide, droog naaldbos en spontaan berkenbos. Het gebied is 152 hectare groot en eigendom van Staatsbosbeheer. In het gebied is een wandelroute aangelegd en je vindt er een vogelkijkhut.

Access
Coming from the center of Reusel, roundabout center towards Arendonk (B). Then first street on the left Lensheuvel. This street changes into 't Heike then Postelsedijk. After the 3rd street on the right, 2nd dirt road on the right. At the end of the dirt road, turn left and park at the barrier. The walking route starts here. The area can only be explored on foot. On the map you see a 7 km circular walk.

Nederlands: Komende van uit het centrum Reusel, rotonde centrum richting Arendonk (B). Daarna eerste straat links Lensheuvel. Deze straat gaat over in 't Heike daarna Postelsedijk. Na de 3e straat rechts, 2e zandpad rechts. Einde zandpad links en parkeren bij slagboom. Klik op de P in de kaart voor een routebeschrijving naar deze plek. Hier begint de wandelroute van 7 km (route is ook in te korten, zie gemarkeerd met de ster op de kaart). Deze is uitsluitend te voet te verkennen.
