Easy accessible birding spot near Amsterdam, famous for the large amounts of Black-tailed Godwit in early spring.
Famous birdingspot in The Netherlands where many waders and meadowbirds can be seen early in spring. Birds you can see here are: Common Sandpiper, Garganey, Little Ringed Plover, Water Pipit, Black-winged Stilt, Northern Lapwing, Eurasian Curlew, Ruff, Common Snipe, Green Sandpiper, Spotted Redshank, Common Greenshank, Wood Sandpiper, Common Redshank, Black-tailed Godwit, Eurasian Spoonbill, White Wagtail, Northern Shoveler, Eurasian Wigeon, Common Teal.

Nederlands: Gemakkelijk bereikbare vogelplek vlak bij Amsterdam, beroemd om de grote hoeveelheden Black-tailed Godwit in het vroege voorjaar. In het voorjaar wordt het land nat en plas/dras gehouden en kunnen ook veel andere weidevogels, steltlopers en eenden hier worden gezien zoals Common Sandpiper, Garganey, Little Ringed Plover, Water Pipit, Black-winged Stilt, Northern Lapwing, Eurasian Curlew, Ruff, Common Snipe, Green Sandpiper, Spotted Redshank, Common Greenshank, Wood Sandpiper, Common Redshank, Black-tailed Godwit, Eurasian Spoonbill, White Wagtail, Northern Shoveler, Eurasian Wigeon, Common Teal. Vanaf juni droogt het land langzaam op en zijn er beduidend minder en uiteindelijk eind van de zomer nauwelijks nog vogels te zien.
