Description
The Johannapolder is located west of the Rhoon marina. The beautifully situated recreational area consists of sheep pasture, an ash and willow flood forest and a creek. Birds you may encounter in the area are Common Cuckoo, Northern Lapwing, Western Marsh Harrier, Grey Heron, Willow Tit, Great Spotted Woodpecker, Eurasian Green Woodpecker, Cetti's Warbler, Blackcap and Common Redstart.

Nederlands: De Johannapolder ligt ten westen van de jachthaven van Rhoon. Een recreatiegebied en coulisselandschap van 20 hectare aan de Oude Maas. Het gebied bestaat uit schapenweide, een essen- en wilgenvloedbos en een kreek.
