The bed of the river Brenta near Nove is a special place, in late autumn and winter, because here buntings choose to stop for the cold season, because of the good availability of seeds which are their main diet. You can find Rock Bunting , Yellowhammer , Cirl Bunting and the rare Pine Bunting , sometimes hybrids, sometimes pure ones. You an also spot Red-backed Shrike , Eurasian Goshawk , Melodious Warbler , Red-footed Falcon , Osprey , Linnet , Eurasian Hobby , Common Chiffchaff (and the tristis too), Reed Bunting , some Black-crowned Night Heron , Brambling , Goosander , Rosy Starling , Redwing , European Turtle Dove and Eurasian Hoopoe.
