Nagy-tó means Big Lake. In this large wetland next to the village of Tiszaalpár there is a big heron nesting colony in the willows-jungle around the Big Lake. Plenty of yöhaikara, lehmähaikara, silkkihaikara, jalohaikara, harmaahaikara, ruskohaikara, kapustahaikara and rääkkähaikara nest in the area. But there are many other interesting birds to see like mustanmerenlokki, härkälintu, uivelo, merikotka and lapinkirvinen.
