Description

The Rohrsee area is a European bird sanctuary of 110 hectares. The Rohrsee is a breeding place for several species of ducks, grebes, rails, gulls, and in some years herons. Resting place also for many migratory bird species.

Access

The Rohrsee is located about six kilometres southwest of the town centre of Bad Wurzach. Observation with a spotting scope from the moraine hills in the north, south and east of the lake. Click on the P in the map for directions.
