Description

It is worth watching the birds at the Oelbach Klärteiche because, especially in winter, there are large numbers of Mallard, Gadwall, Tufted Duck, Common Pochard, Eurasian Wigeon , Great Crested Grebe, Eurasian Coot, Little Grebe and Eurasian Moorhen. Due to the mixture of forest and water, other species also live there in smaller numbers, such as Great Spotted Woodpecker, Eurasian Blue Tit, Great Tit, Common Chaffinch, Common Kingfisher, Grey Heron, Common Chiffchaff, Great Cormorant and many more.

Sometimes rare species are also found there.
