Description

The Karwendelgrube (a rocky pit surrounded by the summits of Mt. Karwendel and Mt. Dammkar) is placed next to the upper station of Karwendelbahn (Cable-car). Therefore it is easy accessible even for the disabled or elder people. Its possible to see many alpine birds (Alpine Accentor, Yellow-billed Chough, Wallcreeper, Rock Ptarmigan) throughout the year and during migration even rarities.
