Description
Butjadingen is a peninsula on the Wadden Sea. The beach area south of the village of Burhave, is worth a check. First, there's a 150-meter-long jetty into the mudflats that ends at a gully. You can also walk along the beach on a paved path. The best time is early in the morning when the tide is just going out (see a link to the tide table below). Then the birds are within easy viewing distance and won't be disturbed by swimmers.
