Sachsen-Anhalt  >  Germany

Small lakes nested amid forest patches and open fields.

Description

These are somewhat idyllic lakes hidden between forests and agricultural areas. "Somewhat", because there can be a lot of people fishing and from time to time, people illegally camp there. But if it's a quiet day, it's pretty nice there and on those days, you can find a variety of birds home to water, reed beds and forests. Among those are Black Woodpecker , Savi's Warbler , Eurasian Moorhen , Golden Oriole and more.
