Description
Terres d'Oiseaux, near Bordeaux, on the Estuary of the Gironde is an interesting wetland on one of the most important migration routes in France. Waders, passers-by and nesting birds find refuge, rest and feed in this wetland of 116 hectares. There are trails, platforms and observatories to discover the area. 117 bird species have been recorded in the area: 94 migratory, 51 overwintering, 49 nesting.
