Description
The lagoon of Étang de Biguglia is the largest area of water in Corsica and an important area for water birds. The nature reserve covers an area of 18km² and is separated from the sea by a narrow stretch of land. 127 species of aquatic bird are found in the reserve. In Réserve Naturelle de l'Étang de Biguglia you can find birds such as Greater Flamingo or Audouin's Gull.

Access
Réserve Naturelle de l'Étang de Biguglia is situated to the south of the city of Bastia. You can park at the side of the road. Click on the P in the map for directions. A 2 km circular walking route lets you explore the reserve. Along this route you will find a bird hide.
