Island only accessible by boat. A small area is accessible to the public and allows you to observe lots of birds.
Reserve Banc d'Arguin is a sandbank that is home to a multitude of birds that nest in the sand, which is why it’s essential not to enter the “zone de protection intégrale” (integral protection zone) which is roped off. The Banc d'Arguin is monitored by the SEPANSO guards. Camping and dogs are not allowed. Among the birds you can encounter are Kentish Plover, Dunlin, Eurasian Curlew and Black-tailed Godwit.
