Pointe des Châteaux is one of the best places for birdwatching on Guadeloupe. The site presents various habitats, salt flats, coastline, dry forest and lagoons. It allows you to observe seabirds such as terns, White-tailed Tropicbird and Red-billed Tropicbird. You can also observe a great diversity of waders and ducks.

Pointe des Châteaux is located at the easternmost point of Guadeloupe. The site is also the most visited in Guadeloupe by tourists. It is thus provided with a roadside parking space.
