Observatoire Marckolsheim is a small hide bordering a meadow. Among the birds you can observe are Common Wood Pigeon, European Turtle Dove, Eurasian Collared Dove, Common Cuckoo, White Stork, Great Egret, Sparrowhawk, Common Buzzard, Great Spotted Woodpecker, Eurasian Green Woodpecker and Eurasian Kestrel.

Coming from Marckolsheim, take the D10 road towards the EDF road (D20) after the Maginot de Rhin line memorial museum. Stop at the CIté 14 path. Park in the car park.
